Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His career began with performances in television shows including Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America was in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame in 2019 earned him even more fame. He was able to become one of the highest paid actors on the planet because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
