Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is the Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. Since her teenage years she has been involved in popular music as well as flamenco. Her music also strays into various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as crisp and sweet but having a bit of bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. The third album by Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the only solo performer on the show for the very first time on the program. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to be awarded both.
