MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI to perform her streaming song Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his older brother and mother are both musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is a must. When he was young, he instructed to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
