Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. She was taught by her mother to sing, but she began more intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. As a student and being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. When she moved to California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in southern California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.
